A woman tricked underaged girls into have sex with her by disguising herself as a man with a rubber penis.
Jennifer Staines, who posed as Jason Spiller on social media, groomed the underage victims by telling them she was “looking for love”.
The 23-year-old convinced three families over a five year period that she was man.
Staines contacted teenage girls, aged between 12 and 17,
and led them to believe she was a man called Jason which
subsequently led to them meeting up and becoming romantically involved.
One of these relationships lasted more than a year, and one even led to Staines going on holiday with a young girl's family.
She would change in the toilets to disguise her real body
and refused to allow them to touch her, and she would use condoms when
having sex with the victims.
One later went to her doctor in fear that she was pregnant for “Jason”.
The mother of one of the victims grew suspicious of Staines
back in September 2014, suspecting that “Jason” was a fake and
contacted the police.
The police later raided Staines house in Preston, Lancashire, and found the sex toy which carried incriminating DNA.
Staines was sentenced yesterday to 39 months in prison after admitting to sexual assault and possession of indecent images.
Judge Barry Cotter from Bristol Crown Court said she had
“planned carefully to deceive”. He added: “I can’t determine whether it
was for love, love and sex, or just sex.”
A similar case to 25-year-old Gayle Newland from Cheshire, who last
November received eight years for having sex with a woman while
pretending to be a man.
