Eight schoolgirls were injured when an 80-year-old woman ploughed her car into a crowd of pupils boarding their bus home.
None of the pupils were seriously hurt and injuries ranged from broken legs to broken arms the afternoon horror crash outside Belvedere Academy in Toxteth, Liverpool.
A major incident was declared by the emergency services after the Peugeot - driven by an elderly women - struck the youngsters at around 3.30pm.
